Image and story rights

Use family photographs, documents, stories, and other material that you own or have permission to use. Consider the privacy of living people and anyone who may be identified in a story or image.

You retain ownership of the material you place in a Carryforth record. Because you complete the downloaded files privately, Carryforth does not receive a license to host, display, publish, or reuse your family content.

Carryforth does not operate a public family-story gallery. If you text, email, print, or otherwise share a completed record, that decision and its audience are yours to choose.
