About Carryforth
Objects remember for us.
Carryforth is a family archive kit for the ordinary things that become sacred because someone carried them forward: a quilt, tomato seeds, a handwritten recipe, an unnamed photograph, a hunting jacket, or a vase.
Rather than reducing family history to names and dates, the pages make room for memory, uncertainty, inheritance, and disappearance. Each Heirloom Record gives a family a way to write down what it knows, what it remembers, and what it still cannot name.
Carryforth does not take custody of that story. Nothing is stored on Carryforth. Families download the materials, complete them privately, and decide where their finished records belong.
